(angrymob) : The text for Hunters seems to suggest they're still part of the covenant - : nothing about them allying with humans, and lots of ominous text about how : dangerous they are. Personally, I'd much rather fight against Hunters than : alongside them - those encounters are some of my favorite (not so much : Halo 1, since you can kill them so easily, but in Halo 2 on Legendary, : Hunter appearances are perhaps the most enjoyable, replayable points in : the game.) But if so, I'm not sure how they would swing it story-wise - : they quite clearly sided with the Elites against the Brutes... Don't forget that, with the Covie civil war still fresh, maybe there could be hunters on BOTH sides. Imagine going into a huge battle, Flood and Elites and Brutes all over, then two phalanxes of Hunters bust in from both sides and start annihilating each other and everything in-between.
Oh, the possibilities are endless.
