What makes you think that human technology would be able to detect it or figure out how to take advantage of it? Compared to whatever built the Halo, we're primitives, and I expect we have about as much chance of figuring out what they use as Christopher Columbus would of figuring out how to build a GPS reciever. This will probably change as the game progresses (what good is having an semirampant AI with a 'tude hitching a ride in your head if they can't crack into alien computer networks for you?), but I expect things to be kinda rough in the beginning. : An earth compass would not work, but a gyroscope could do about the same
Possibly. I have been somewhat conditioned by Marathon to expect BoBs to be useful mainly as extra ammunition.... |
