I'm not sure what you're referring to here... the HBO FAQ doesn't mention an equivalent to the human flamethrower... the gun we list is one that fires bolts of plasma or energy from a magazine above. If you have trouble with other FAQs on this particular issue, you should take it up with the authors, not with us.

Good question. We covered it in our Weapons rundown:

But it never made it into the FAQ. We should rectify that. (Realize that there are three weapons in that screenshot - the leftmost cov is holding a pistol (though the jeep bumper is situated in such a way as to suggest a different weapon), the middle one has a fuel rod gun, and the right one holds the third cov weapon type. (These are all pre-e3 pics, and so they probably don't even exist any more... but in the interest of completeness, you're right, we should cover it.)
