In Response To: Re: Halo tools to be windows only? (Peter)

Hmm...Bungie seem to have developed themselves around allowing 3rd party development, looking at the Marathon series and indeed the Myth series shows that. These games are still being developed for and played regularly by many people. I think this 'community' was part of what MS was really after in the purchase of Bungie, after all, its the people who play the game that 'make' the game work and create a game culture. It would seem strange to go this far down the road developing for a mac platform and not consider the editiors (looking at previous game releases). I'm crossing my fingers and can see where you are coming from but Bungie know 'alot' of people or development groups who have been waiting for these editiors, more so than perhaps the game itself! I think after Halo we will see the page turn and perhaps a down turn in the development for macs, I hope they'll still be ported but we'll have to wait and see.
