This used to be true, years ago, but as far as any tools available to third parties go, this isn't the case anymore. Anything written in the modern version of MFC will be a HUGE job to port to the Mac. This is because an editor is highly UI intensive...code that is maximally difficult to port. The exception to this is if Microsoft has internal versions of MFC code that compiles to the Mac.

Anyone know what framework IE for the Mac is written with?
