Unlike the Macworld video, this is not an in-game presentation. It's taken from a DVD movie. The question is, how did they capture that movie? Did they just grab frames from the monitor, or did they render it directly into a movie? Whichever one was easier, I suspect. This sounds like a good question for Matt. If they did render it directly into a movie file, it doesn't mean they "cheated." Models would still behave the same. Background terrain would still pop up. The only difference would be the framerate. And if you think today's hardware isn't up to the task of handling large outdoor areas, well, you haven't played Serious Sam yet. :) What's wrong with you?
