I was thinking magnetically too. As for getting in: at one point of the movie you can see that red alien jump quite high. Mb the aliens have strong legs. :)

BTW- you still haven't acknowleged that I was right about the swiveling guns on the hover thingies. You can EXTREMELY clearly see those guns swivel in the E3 movie. :p
