(gmcg) I would compare it with Belly of the Beast in Halo 1 in difficulty (except that you don't die nearly as quickly - you just run out of ammo and suffer a slow death). To the guy who said it's easy, maybe you happened upon a great spot, maybe you got lucky in some key way. For one thing, I notice you said you go back to the previous bay to pick up weapons - I don't have that luxury, myself. I have to go back to the previous bay and get weapons before I start to fight, or they auto-clean. My technique is to make a pile of plasma pistols in the hall (I came up with 10), and then use the battle rifle and grenades to get rid of grunts so they won't waste my charged plasma shots, then hide behind the green box at the room's entry using plasma pistol/battle rifle combo to kill the elites. Some are bolder, but my way works. You can get more battle rifle rounds in the hall across the room, along with two or three frag grenades. I went through 9 of my 10 plasma pistols. I should note that I've only successfully done the room once - I haven't gone back in since I figured out how to do it. I could probably do it more efficiently now. | |
