In Response To: Legendary Observations (very long, minor *SP*) (mike miller) Just a few remarks. About the boss battles, I generally enjoyed those, especially the Prophet of Regret (you can't tell me punching that bastard into the afterlife didn't feel good). Tartarus, on the other hand, was annoying. What's lame about that battle is that you have to wait untill sarge hits him like three times for his shield to go out. Then and only then can you inflict damage on him and you don't have any weapons to knock out his shields yourself. I agree with what you said about music, level design, graphics and weapons effects, etc. You pretty much hit the nail on the head on all these issues. Best level: Arbiter and the one after that. I don't have any best moments, but I saw my nephew do something that blew me away. Near the end of the last level where you get swarmed by banshees, he was getting pummeled. He needed to ditch his ride, but he was high in the air. In a desperate move, he flew over another banshee located a few feet below, dropped out of his banshee, landed on the enemy banshee, highjacked it, and proceeded to take eveyone else down. That was amazing. |
