In Response To: Re: Object Overloading. (Virus 232) : yes, but how is the co-op one done in co-op, one player whacks their buddy one the back and he drops his gun/ammo. He respawns and they do it again. Do this for a long time (until the framerate get reeeel choppy) and "unneccessary" things like enemies will disappear to let the game not freeze up. This is possible because of a programming decision to make dropped ammo/weapons never disappear so you could go back and get them later. Since the ammo/guns never disppear, there are way too many objects in the game's memory and it starts to panic, deleting things like the elite who drives the banshee over you in the Maw. Then you hijack that banshee when it flies over. Sounds simple...hahaha good luck. |
