I want to point out that reconstitution is one possible interpretation and not the only conclusion; my post was a bit rushed as I was at work, and the pestistential firewall there meters time on non-client sites. (It was only afterwards that I realised I should have composed it, at leisure, in a text editor and then dumped it in at next break. *sigh*) I didn't give it the normal rewrite pass I make before posting, so I implied a bit more than I'd meant to. As gspawn has already noted, it could also be targeting data which would imply at a minimum survey missions to life-bearing worlds. (Or, for the nastily suspicious, the sequences could have been implanted in potential hosts for future identification and eradication... a less pleasant interpretation of "seeding" than most.) There should be other interpretations we haven't discussed yet... so feel free to throw them out for discussion. We're still in the brainstorming phase here. Cerami points out that the other Bungie forums have more mundane definitions, which makes this stand out. It may be an indicator that this is meant to be a hint. I will note one piece of supporting data for this; only one other forum definition gives backstory info, and that's "New Mombassa"; its definition is a straight-forward description of the city in 26th century Kenya. And the purpose of the forum is expressly for speculating on Halo2 material. (Hmm... I wonder if Mount Kilimanjaro will make an appearance? How about hippos as ambient life...? Nah.)
