In Response To: Re: Bungie's weird definition of "Library" (Mister Chiffe) Remember: You retrieve the Index to "fire" the Halo. *opinion* The Index is the "Table of Contents" for the Library. It enables Halo to eliminate all beings of (x) criteria by allowing Halo to run a catalogue across the Library's store of potential "vectors". Saying the Library is for seeding works great and all until you remember that whole index firing the Halo thing... unless you want to say the Halos BOTH seed AND catalogue life as part of one continuous process...
