To an extent i hope it is fairly graphic (obviously with a gore lock like myth), almost all of bungies games have been way too tame in my opinion. Marathon was just down right cartoony. This has never really bothered me as, because of the graphics it was hardly important. Myth was cool, but the figures were small and hard to see compared to the kind of personal detail characters in halo will have.
I think considering that bungie are pushing the realism of their characters, even to the point of allowing us usefull hand jestures and such, that it would look a little out of place if the death sequences look too staged.
