If the multiplayer is "done" and it's still going to take 8 months for singleplayer, then the singleplayer experience should be uncanny, blowing games like Swat 3 (Man, I love that game, pitty multiplayer is still being worked on!!) away. Also, this means that maybe they'll beat they expected schedule, and they anticipated this, so they intentionally set up a further release date, just incase something came up that delayed them, so we wouldn't whine about release date problems.... GOOD THINKING BUNGIE.
