	In Response To: First purge? (Interactive Civilian) : Is this necessarilly the "first purging"? I had always assumed that : there was some of Traxus IV in all of the Marathon AIs as Traxus' rampancy : had invaded "5 of the other AIs on the Martian Net." : Could the purging of Traxus from the Martian Network be the actual first : purging that Durandal refers to? The crash of Traxus was in 2206. The Marathon was launched in 2472. So that would rule out Bernard Strauss being in involved in the 1st purge. Unless of course he put himself into stasis shortly afterwards (which I doubt). If Bernard Strauss was involved in Durandal's 1st purge (Strauss' abuse, Durandal's shame) then it would of had to have happened some time before the Marathon's launch. Of course there are many theories. This just happens to be another good one. Cheers Hamish
