Marathon hasn't made that much of a great difference in my life. Nothing really consistent, at the least. I only used the games universe to obtain the whopping 18.5 on 20 note at my english course at university by writing a short story; spent nights, and nights, and nights, and nights of thrilling, go there do this kill that for the sake of a story I still find most impressive se7en years thereafter; spent my pocketmoney as a kid to buy myself some old computer that would run, and totally destroyed my social life for the sake of it. Not much, when you consider some.
