(Ernie) : A ctually, as I type this, I realized I’m wearing a yellow T-shirt with the : S'pht logon image (found at the top of this page, of course) printed in : black on it. Marathon for many of us integrates it's self into our lives. : It becomes part of who we are - or maybe that's just me. Marathon, for me, has set the high bar on storytelling in games; equalled only in spirit by System Shock 2, in detail by the likes of Deus Ex. Marathon inspired me enough to have spent a notable slice of the last six years, on and off, helping make Apotheosis become a reality. Marathon sparked something in me that let me know I could be a professional games designer, too, and inspired me to achieve that goal. Marathon turned me into a Bungie diehard. Hats off to ye, Mazza ;) [z]
