	In Response To: Cubans (Mark Levin) : An idea: Are the Cubans explicitly identified as Cubans in the game? Perhaps : "You see a dead person" is Bungie's way of saying that the : body's race/origin is not known to Sgt. Eddings, even though we know what : they are out-of-game. No the Cubans are never explicitly indentified in-game. From a story point of view it does make sense that we don't know their country of origin. We are told about the German expedition prior to entering the pyramid so when we find the German bodies we know they are Germans (shouldn't be to hard to identify them as Germans anyway given their uniforms). While the Dead Germans know about the Cubans they only know that they speak Spanish (odd that the Germans don't know about the other Americans... but that's another story). The odd thing about the PID Message Window is that it provides detailed story info above what we learn from talking to the Dead or the briefing report in the manual. For example when we walk over a Buddha-like guy we learn that it is a Sentinel. However when we walk over a dead Cuban we are not told that it is a Cuban even though that was Bungie's intention. Why the inconsistency? Either it was simply overlooked or the term "Cuban" was explicitly left out for some reason. Cheers Hamish
