That strikes me as kinda dodging the question... Leaving so people would consider why you left? Bungie's darker than that for one thing.
And I really dont get why they would start work on a paradise world, then leave in despair over the death of Pthia... as a set up.
That's kinda pushing a 'just because' theory :D
