: Suggesting that the Prologue's message is from Yrro - a character we know
: nothing about and who may no longer exist and who is most likely just an
: alternate spelling and reinterpretation of Jjaro - is pretty far fetched.
: Not impossible, but unlikely.
We may not know much about Yrro, but there aren't that many other existing characters to choose from to pin as the Magical Mystery Entity (Law of Narrative Conservation and all that). We do also directly hear from him near the end on a terminal that uses the MME's/Jjaro emblem.
: I think what's more likely is that the Ne Cede Malis message is either
: non-diegetic narration, or a representation of the main character's
: intuition as it is influenced by his Jjaro implants.
I think it's going to get extremely confusing if we start writing off parts of the main narrative as "non-diagetic" just because their origins aren't immediately obvious.
