Wow for some reason it never clicked in my head that "tanks" = "cyborgs." It doesn't help that those things don't have any good names to go by; they're just those grenade shooting things that were once human. The "you" implies the player was meant to be one of them. Otherwise tycho would have said "not all of them survived the transition to pfhor slave tanks." Infinity's narrative has always been confusing.
