No, I'm not really sure what that does. I just now tried it with and without the flag set. I used headlesses that weren't blind, and some of them activate right away when they see me, and some of them don't. Some don't even activate after standing in front of their face for a few seconds. I tried with the m1 compatibility flag as well, and it had the same behavior. Relying on Aleph One to determine line of sight for monsters just doesn't seem to work well no matter what.
Didn't M1 still use some sort of monster triggers? I doubt either M1 or M2 have activation rules that match PiD.
