I can raise the floor just by 1/1024th of a WU and it prevents me from entering the polygon. I can still definitely see the seam from certain distances and angles though. Judging by your MPID screenshots, everything is super dark there, so that might be helping to hide it better.
I think it's not too horrible with the seam, but I think what I'm going to do is include an optional plugin to do the idle/postidle trick to fix it. If it hurts performance for some people, they can turn it off.
