Actually, you could kill two birds with one stone by adding bonuses to the score, since the player's maximum health is tied to their score. Maybe on Major Damage and up, you get a point for normally 0-point items, like the silver medal, the copies of Mein Kampf, extra pistols, etc. TC could give you an extra point for everything else.
