But PID does have maps! Look!

I need to add some qualifiers to what "accessible" means:
—Everyone that's going to complain about not having 3D graphics have already left the room.
—Yes, you're told what you need to do, but your hand isn't being held at every step (a lot of noobs won't even read the terminals)
—Try to bear in mind when I'm comparing their "popularity" and "accessibility" it should be framed in the contemporary time period, as in pre-aleph one Marathon and Console Halo. I had a friend back then who played Halo constantly and talk about the hollowed out moon symbol (or something) being a marathon thing, and I was like "oh, yeah, I remember that game," so when I showed him Marathon he looked at it like it was some oddity and made fun of my computer for being a mac.
—There's lots of other things I can just lump into "modern gamer vs old-school game."
