Heh, I'm glad I decided to check these forums after an absence of...well, a long, long time.

Glad to hear some people are interested in the ol' GURPS Marathon book. I graduated from Stanford, hence the dead page. But it's actually still around. You can find it now at http://max.beachheadonline.com/rpg/marathon/intro.html. Do enjoy, though it sounds like you guys found an old copy anyway.

Incidentally, someone in an earlier post mentioned that GURPS Marathon is "completely unauthorized" in every sense of the word. That's not strictly true. I received permission from Bungie to publish it, so it's "authorized" in the sense that it is legally allowed to exist. Obviously it isn't "canon," or anything, and no one at Bungie has actually read the darn thing (AFAIK) for whatever that's worth.
