You make a good point. Fortunately, nothing about the story I've come up with is set in stone. It can change as needed, especially to accomidate any mistakes I might make.
There won't be legions of humans running around in the RP. We would just need enough for anyone that joins up and wants to RP a human. So we could use any of the Bob's that fought with Robert Blake that may have been captured by the Pfhor and were placed into stasis (which is hypothetically possible). Or there are the Bob's that refused to fight for Durandal when he was looking for volenteers among those that were abducted from the Marathon. Those that did not volenteer were put back into stasis, and would have still been aboard "Boomer" when it crashed. The Pfhor could have found any surviving stasis pods in the wreckage and brought them onto one of their own ships. There's anough leeway to have a handful of humans around.
Or we could change it to dead humans (which I'm sure the Pfhor had plenty of access to on the colony and Marathon) that were made into battleroids by the Pfhor using information provided by Tycho. Tycho was the science AI on Marathon and could have known enough to instruct the Pfhor on how to make them.
Or players can decide to RP the aliens. Or anything else they want to.
