timelines and their glory

: No, M1 is the common ancestor of all timelines. The earliest split in the
: timeline happens sometime after M1. The "original" timeline was
: M1->M2. Some variant of the M2 portion resulted in the manual prologue.

: alternative timeline to M2, where the player was taken by the Pfhor
: instead of Durandal after M1, became the Despair chapter, where the player
: comes to Lh'owon with Tycho. And so on, with different variations on the
: post-M1 events leading to different timelines. But the M1 portion of the
: timeline is common to them all.

Ah, got it. That makes sense.

So, when looking at the trilogy as a whole, does the player-character actually travel through these times or is he just experiencing them? Do they "never" happen, or do the all happen?

Not that I want to get back into the time-travel discussion...

The reason for asking is I am wondering how Moo's final screen relates to things.
