Well, this is my first time posting here so hi everybody. This subject has always entertained me. So much so that I've spent countless hours picking apart every bit of story I could wrap my brain around. I tend to agree that Halo and Marathon aren't connected in a prequel/sequel sense, but that doesn't mean these two universes have never nor will never overlap. There are just too many unkowns in the Marathon story to ignore anything Bungie creates that has any hint of Marthon on it, and Halo is screaming hints. In my opinion, Marathon is the template for the puzzle, and anything Bungie creates is a possible piece that puzzle.
