OK guys, listen, stop saying that halo is a sequel because obviously if anything its a prequel, and the "marathon symbol" isn't exclusive to the marathon its the symbol for the earth's space navy, its quite possibe that the MC and the marine are the same person, Only Bungie has the answers and if they explain thats good.
You guys just have to be patient, bungie knows we are here blowing our brains off trying to figure it out, we are the devoted fans and the people at bungie owe us this much, But Bungie said tat IF it is not the same game they take place in the same universe (diemension) whatever.
Anyway thats what i have.
