These look pretty good overall... only comment I would make is that a few of them (M2 Water 08, 09, and 10 illustrate this) are a bit too "cloudy". That cloud effect must look a little odd when the textures are tiled. A few of my M1 textures suffer from this too, and I'll get in there and equalize them a bit someday. : However, there are 8 textures which I simply cannot find replacements for : which look better than the originals, even in their fuzzy 256 color state. : :-) These are Infinity Lava 05,08,09,21,25,26 and Sewage 28,29. If you go : the link above, you can see what I mean. So, really... all you have to do : is 8 MEASLY textures! (Yes, I know that there are some hi-res version of : those textures floating around, but I am not pleased with how they look in : the game. The textures that I have settled on for my collection all have : been carefully picked to blend together effortlessly. In many instances, : there were a number of different textures to choose from, and I didnt' : always pick the "slickest" one.) Well, I don't have all of the 8 that you are missing, but I do have one or t wo of them. My textures are not released. I am trying to figure out if it would be : OK to do so, considering that most of the textures are already duplicated : in other sets. If you do those 8 missing textures... then it would : certainly be worth getting this package. I think you'd need to get the permission of each of the creators. I personally don't mind if you re-release mine as long as I get credit in the ReadMe. : PS : Actually, Marathon 2 Water textures 18 and 26 are slightly mismatched, but : it's a small thing and I never notice it unless I specifically look for : it. That M2_1_18 that you're using isn't mine, so I'm not surprised t hey don't match up exactly. I could whip up a version of that one pretty quickly to match my version of 26 (they're made from the same parts). I'll let you know when I've done it. It looks like the M2 18 is also very close to the Infinity Water 18, so you might try subbing that one in. The only big diff I see is the greenish area at the bottom. JF
