In Response To: Re: Problem Solved! (D-M.A.) : lol, I can't believe the answer was that simple, should have thought about
Years ago I gave Marathon 80 megs out of my 126 on my old 7100/66 PowerPC so that I would never have to think of it again in a problem solving situation. Nothing else ever ran behind it in OS9 anyway. I have known people to set the "Preferred size" memory allocation of Marathon to the same amount of memory they had installed in their machine. Marathon takes what it needs or that which the system won't give up. I just checked M1A1 and I see I gave it 128 megs to play with, overkill is a good thing inside AND outside of Marathon.
