Hamish Sanderson, the creator of Trojan will most likely not respond to email about Trojan. He is extremely busy running a business and has pretty much divested himself of most things Marathon. Anyway, his head exploded. Your best bet is here with us. Muahahahahaha... er... *cough cough* Have you tried giving Trojan a freakin' butt load of memory? Use overkill for best results, all the memory your system can spare.

It does not sound to me like you have a corrupted save. In my experience you can't even load a corrupted save file and you say you are playing in it teleporting to a new level when it crashes. You dumped your prefs, reinstalled the game... possibly it could be an incompatible OS9 system extension. Turn off everything you don't need to run the game, especially EVERY 3rd party extension. Another thing to consider, if you don't have the proper shapes file, Marathon will crash when it is asked to load a shape it does not have. Make sure you are using a NEW shapes file from your CD and running the Trojan patch on that.
