In Response To: FM's review (goran) ....I think we all pretty much know how much of a giant ass FM can be. He's done it to me, he's done it to the rubicon team, he's done it to pretty much anyone he's had a problem with, no matter how insignificant. He will come on hotline sometimes and say "Hey ooga, whats up?" and things like that, but i've made it very clear to him back when he was maintaining fileball and evihcra and whatnot that I don't particularly enjoy his company. As for his review of rubicon... I thought it was unfair. Of course, opinions are like assholes... The world is full of them. :) Personally I found rubicon to be one of the most rewarding, challenging scenarios i've ever played. Harder than RED. Yep, I said harder than RED. Reason being? F#CKING MASER BOBS/NEW ENFORCERS!!!! YAAAAAAAAAARRRRGH!!!! Anyways, I thought Rubicon was in a league of it's own when it came to texture choices, atmosphere, level flow, story branching... It was all thoroughly amazing and although I consider myself an above adequate mapper, the only kind of map that I could possibly have contributed to that project if I were elected onto the team would be netmaps. Hats off to whoever designed Core Wars and The Last Level Where Everything Has Been Chopped Up As If With A Moon-Sized Axe, to which I cannot for the life of me remember the name. Also, it seems someone HAS "vidded" rubicon. Mister Sumner. While I don't agree with his method of skipping entire levels sometimes, and his methods, it does technically qualify as vidding it. How about them apples, FM? -ooga |
