: you're stuck in a loop". The problem with this is that people very
: rarely read these. A spoiler guide may be the best alternative, as people
: almost always will consult one if they get stuck.
There will most definitely be a spoiler guide with Eternal X, complete with an actual visual map of the level flow. There is also an on-screen "Help" button on the main screen, which uses what are usually credits screens (credits are now in an epilogue screen), and explains the basics of how Marathon operates, for complete newbies. At the end of this will be a "for further, more detailed help, please see..." and direct players to the spoiler guide, which will be included in the install package.
