: There's something I don't get about this - only G3 is timed. All the other
: levels, success or failure is just a matter of doing the right thing or
: finding the right exit. You *know*, immediately, whether or not you've
: taken the right turn or the wrong turn in all of these levels. So how is
: it that people can manage to get stuck in a loop over and over again? If
: you go through the loop once and get sent back, *don't do the same thing
: again*. Try something different. Keep looking until you find a different
: exit - don't just go "oh I hope this time doing the same thing will
: make something different happen".
: The one slight exception to this, I suppose, is Dread Not, where the exit
: terminals are identical. But still, just going back to it and doing the
: same thing without doing anything differently... it just doesn't make
: sense to me how someone can get stuck like this.
: The other weirdness I see is people who for some reason think the exit is on
: the failure dream level, not the level you are sent back to. I don't even
: see where that confusion comes from.
Problems arise if you don't know which level is the branch level, or if you don't know what you have to do to succeed.
