In Response To: Re: eternal Volunteers: the Land in the Sky (blake37)

: While from a realism point it doesn;t work, I think it adds the right
: atmosphere, and if you do keep it in X, my advice is to make it a little
: less frequent, and is possable, last a little longer each time it's
: played. Music would do rather nicly in the loons absance.

Right now I've got Craig Mullins' "Rapture" scheduled for the first incarnation of this level ("To Sleep Perchance To Dream"). Should have similar stuff for the other incarnations.

: So we're on this really tall tower sort of thing that extends above the
: atmosphere on that part of the interior of the hollow thing? So that
: gravity would be comeing from the outer shell of this sphere, thus holding
: the atmospere whare it is, right? Cool.

Yep, exactly :-) Think of the hole in the top of Fist-of-God, if you've ever read Ringworld.

: I see what you mean, but I still don't agree with how it's done. But thats
: just me, and you should do it how you think it should be done. About that
: metal cylinder (sorta) you can fly up onto that big plain area and run
: around and fun stuff like that.

Yeah, as I said earlier I forgot about the flying on that orb, and thus anything you can only reach via flying is a bug exploit. In later versions you are supposed to be able to run around up there, and you can run up the spiral staircase on the very last level.

: ^^whaty?^^ timeframe...thing? Poor blake is confused :(

Oops. "Thing" should be "think". Think much, much longer ago.
