: The loon is actually someting I wondered if anybody would point out. Yes, the
: level is actually supposed to be in vacuum, but the absolute silence was
: just so... not the right atmosphere. The loon cry was really needed for
: atmosphere. Maybe I'll take it out when there's music in there.

While from a realism point it doesn;t work, I think it adds the right atmosphere, and if you do keep it in X, my advice is to make it a little less frequent, and is possable, last a little longer each time it's played. Music would do rather nicly in the loons absance.

: As for the snow and trees - the snow-covered mountains and any vegatation on
: them is below you, down in the atmosphere still; and anything above you in
: the sky is in the part of the atmosphere on the other side of the world,
: so any greenery up there is fine.

So we're on this really tall tower sort of thing that extends above the atmosphere on that part of the interior of the hollow thing? So that gravity would be comeing from the outer shell of this sphere, thus holding the atmospere whare it is, right? Cool.

: If you look at the whole level closely (like, in the last version), you'll
: see that the spiral staircase at the end is on the top of a giant metal
: cylinder, which extends down through the entire mountainside; the holes
: you jump out of in earlier verisons are holes in that cylinder, so when
: the holes are closed you just see the metal of it extending out of the
: rock.

I see what you mean, but I still don't agree with how it's done. But thats just me, and you should do it how you think it should be done. About that metal cylinder (sorta) you can fly up onto that big plain area and run around and fun stuff like that. While up there I found some places with some smearing, mostly just little tiny walls whare the floor changes hieghts slightly. Also, you cannot climb the big sprial staircase that goes arounf the cylinder because an invisable wall blocks you.

: referring to it in that timeframe... thing much, much longer ago...

^^whaty?^^ timeframe...thing? Poor blake is confused :(
