In Response To: Re: Eternal Mk IV (Andrew Nagy) : So is the concept that Marcus has lost his memories of the previous Marathon
No, Marcus hasn't lost his memories. The dream-speaker just isn't obviously Durandal. It never says that he's Durandal anywhere until near the end of the game, it's just up to players to figure that out. So we've assumed that Marcus might not immediately make the connection. You seem pretty perceptive about these things though, which leads me to ask: how would you like to lead a Volunteers series for Eternal Mk V? I'm not going to release Eternal X until there's been a Volunteers, so I know that many eyes have looked over every last detail. (Like with the whole Red 1.1 thing). Steve Levinson has already said he won't have time to do it, though I hope he joins in later on. So how 'bout it? T-minus 15 minutes and counting... |
