In Response To: I am on the fence (Injunfett) : I went over the Update again and I feel a little odd about the hole thing. I : am glad that they let us know before we got our hopes up, but it seems to : me that they are cutting corners. Sure they gave us a few dates and story : related reasons to not have elites in the game but truth be told I think : it has more to do with the fact that they did not want to have to work on : Elite models as well as building there AI. I can not really remember that : many elites in Halo 3 and this game is starting to seem like DLC getting : put on a disc and sold for more then 800 points like it should. : I was excited about this game, and I was looking forward to it but the fact : of the matter is I am starting to think I am going to pass when it comes : out. The price point for this is going to have to be pretty low because it : really is nothing more then DLC. For example the Fallout 3 DLC is almost : the same as this. New area, new weapons but that's it. : They even stated that the MP is going to be pretty much Halo 3 but they plan : to throw in weapons. If they are not going to take the time to come out : with a regular MP part of this game. You can not blame it on balance they : could have it like Halo instead of Spartan VS Elites, it would just be : ODST Vs ODST. : When bungie became there own studio they said they wanted to make there own : games, and that they wanted to do something other then halo. 2 years after : the release of Halo 3 we are getting a Halo 3 "Expansion" Pack : that seems to be nothing more then a grab for money at the time being. : Come on bungie, I ask this without being smart... Please don't let me down, : and prove me right. ODST's multiplayer IS Halo 3's multiplayer. As in, you'll be able to fire up ODST and join a Halo 3 customs or matchmaking lobby. As such, no weapons are going to carry over from ODST's campaign.
