In Response To: I could weep for joy (Jillybean) They wrote the story. I'm guessing by the reaction we've seen to this update, we didn't know a lot of that before (though I've got a feeling we'd figured most of it out). If that's the case, if the fans wanted to fight elites Bungie still could have accommodated them within the confines of the story as we knew it. Not to do so seems kind of mean. Or maybe lazy because Halo 3 was already set up to feature brutes as the main enemy and not elites. I don't know.
