In Response To: Re: GPS. (Mr. Mister) I tell you what's stupid, stupid is thinking that just pulling whatever out of your ass is a good plot. Halo 2's story is completely stupid. Gravemind is a deus ex machina. A HUGE no no in writing. The whole game's plot is artificially stretched out to make room for the third game, which I think became a requirement after development had already begun. "We're invading Earth, psych!" Halo 3? It could still have a cool story, but I'm pretty much going to ignore Halo 2 and just have the plot of Halo:CE and Halo 3 in my mind as what happens, because Halo 2 is a lot like The Two Towers. It is more time filler and place holder than any real plot development. Sure, there's stuff that happens, but it hardly deserves its own chapter.
