this however is a simply stupid idea, it should be basically EASY to harden all major electronics and EMP shouldnt affect these ships at distances like these if they even had common sense and used EMP hardenning on crtiical systems used in combat, at close range i would agree, yes, your hardened electrnoics would be over come by the EMP, by at long range the idea that your ship would be knocked out by EMP is stupid, considering how3 easy it is just to harden key systems, i do find it quite ridculious, and if its in the books a fault on the writers part. | |
