EVERYTHING in the Halo universe is based off something else. I'm too lazy to look it up now, but potential sources for the Needler have been talked about pretty recently. And the Hunters are a combination of, I think, some Starhammer and some Marathon- and I don't know where the trail goes before that. There is no specific test for me. I'll be watching every stage, and if something screws up (Uwe Boll being involved in any way shape or form as an example) that'll be the litmus for me. But in general, I have lots of faith in Bungie. I really wanna see what they're doing with Chief and all, and of course the Warthogs, etc... One thing that I do share with a lot of people is that, if Chief's face is shown in the movie, I'm probably not seeing it. Don't care how cool it is, don't care how it's worked in- the Halo I know and love wouldn't do that to meh. That's the closest to a litmus as I have. | |
