In Response To: Halo movie Litmus test, what is yours? (GryphonOsiris)

Interesting discussion item! Halo has such a broad fanbase, that it is inevitable that this ficticious commodity will be so many different things to so many different people.

I would imagine that each gamer will want to see their favorite elements from the game lovingly depicted on the screen. As such, I can't wait to see a Worthog in action. Depicted a broad variety of Halo related combat is a great way to please the entire spectrum of the fanbase, as well as keeping the movie from straying into dangerous territory of repetitive scenarios.

As far as my exeprience as a filmgoer, the casting will be the litmus test that makes or breaks this endeavor. The HALO story is so rich in suspense. It will be crucial to find the right people to bring some of those principal characters to life. I am not saying that we hijack this thread to bicker about our own fantasy cast. All I am saying is that the treatment of the people is more important to me than the treatment of the weapons. I also hope they find some good physical actors to mimic the graceful strides of those Elites.
