In Response To: Re: Future, maybe humans lose? (Guilty Spark) What I belive happened was that the forerunners(humans)set off the halos to destroy the flood and put a select group of surviors on earth (the Ark) without a technological base so they wouldn't go find the flood again. If you saw something as terrifying as the Flood, you'd forsake technology too.If it ever got loose in a city the results would be devastating. In the game you probably "killed"(they're already dead.ha ha.) 50-150 combat forms.Think of 100,000 (the size of a regular american city)of them coming after you. That explains why we had to start over again. The 6- fingered panel it is probably for both hands just in case one gets blown, sliced pulled or torn off by the flood, which are quite capable of all. Also , why would the "non-human Forerunners" put the humans, a race that is weak compared to the elites or brutes or even a biological race at all to protect the rings from a flood out break? that is what the SENTINELS are there for. You can't be "infected" If you don't figuratively exist. |
