: regarding laundry people: ARGH. how could i possibly forget that? : --dude1 When you think about it, it's not necessary for each of the geosync MAC platforms to have a dedicated weapons (MAC gun) crew. Seeing as they're all in orbit above Earth, it would probably be cheaper and more effective to have one crew per cluster of three, and to station them on Earth so that the stations don't have to be built with the extra facilities needed to handle them. It'd be easier to just send the crew into orbit every time one of the platforms needed maintenance, especially in the Halo's time of cheap space travel. Same with laundry, and all the other little jobs that can be currently outsourced (like a linen company washing a restaurant's table cloths instead of the restaurant having the facilities). Just something to consider.
