Hmm. Back in the old Classic Mac OS days when we used ResEdit, I knew exactly what resources to change. It looks like you haven't messed with the original AO resources, however, and probably don't want to. One possibility is that the creator code is hard-wired in the AO code for saving a game. It's not a good way to write code, but this is a volunteer project, after all. Perhaps someone in the open source forum could help you out with this.
