One of the great things for me about Halo is the whole first-person experience and the immersion it gives you in the story. I'm happy to come on HBO and join in the speculation (well, mainly read others, but I give it a go) because that is sharing experiences gained in this first person approach with others who have been there too. I guess its like two soldiers surviving the battle and having the conversation later like "what the heck was that all about, did you see...?" etc. Watching it from the outside to see both sides just ain't the same. I want comabt, questions,intrigue and surprises (like how I jumped out of my skin when the flood jumped out at me the first time), not armchair opinions from the "combat" journalist after the event. I didn't read either of the books until after I played the game to the end and then discovered this forum, but it seeing it from the flood point of view was still a spolier, just in a different way. Sorry guys, excuse me while I rant. One more opinion before I get toasted... Yayap the grunt. Am I the only one who imagines an Elite with a pekinese lap dog?
