But what I think Mooreberg was getting at is that the Brutes evolved on a planet similar to earth. they followed an evolutionary path similar to humans, except they took a different turn when they got to the gorilla part of evolution. (instead of losing hair and gaining intelligence they lost intelligence and became very strong) But they are still smart enough to hold religous beliefs and operate weapons/ drive ghosts.

Or maybe that isn't what he was talking about at all.

Well theres my speculation.

On a similar note, I wonder if Brutes will run on all fours like gorillas, or if they will walk on their hind legs like humans.
